COURSE REQUIREMENTS
F GAS CAT 1 & A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN
ABOUT THIS COURSE:
For those with a Category 1 F Gas certificate who wish to develop their skills to enter the air conditioning/heat pump industry or to improve their existing skills set. Ideal for heating, gas engineers, plumbers, electricians or those with existing practical skills and an interest to gain new skills.
On completion successful candidates will be legal, competent and safe to install and commission simple AC/HP systems.
What’s included in the course?
Most time (70%) is spent in practical sessions, learning the use of tools/equipment and gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to install Air Conditioning and Heat Pump systems.

WHY DO I NEED THE F GAS BEFORE DOING THE ACI COURSE?
As you will be handling fluorinated gases during the ACI course you will be required to have the legal qualification to do so.
DOES ANYONE ELSE OFFER THE CITY AND GUILDS 2081?
No, currently Ellis Training is the only centre capable of offering this qualification.
